On January 31, 2020, the MongoDB community has stopped maintenance on MongoDB 3.4. ApsaraDB for MongoDB instances that run MongoDB 3.4 will not be sold as of January 1, 2023. You can purchase ApsaraDB for MongoDB instances that run MongoDB versions later than 3.4.

Impacts
- You will not be able to purchase ApsaraDB for MongoDB instances that run MongoDB 3.4 on the buy page.
- You cannot create new ApsaraDB for MongoDB instances that run MongoDB 3.4 by cloning instances or by recreating instances in the recycle bin.
- You cannot perform operations on existing instances that run MongoDB 3.4, such as changing billing methods, migrating data across zones, or changing configurations.
- Alibaba Cloud will not provide subsequent kernel updates or new features for clusters that run MongoDB 3.4.
- Alibaba Cloud continues to offer technical support for ApsaraDB for MongoDB instances that run MongoDB 3.4.

- If you are using an ApsaraDB for MongoDB instance that runs MongoDB 3.4, we recommend that you upgrade it to a later version to avoid unfixed vulnerabilities and issues that may exist in MongoDB 3.4.
