ApsaraDB for MongoDB:[Notice] Updates of the IOPS monitoring metrics for ApsaraDB for MongoDB

Last Updated:Nov 01, 2024

To simplify monitoring data display and improve user experience, the IOPS monitoring metrics for ApsaraDB for MongoDB will be updated on August 12, 2024. This update does not affect services provided by ApsaraDB for MongoDB.

Effective time

August 12, 2024

Content

The data_iops and log_iops monitoring metrics displayed on the Basic Monitoring tab use the same data source. To avoid ambiguity, ApsaraDB for MongoDB merges the two monitoring metrics into the data_iops(iops) monitoring metric. For more information about basic monitoring, see Basic monitoring.

The following IOPS monitoring metrics are involved in this update:

Before update

After update

data_iops

data_iops(iops)

log_iops

Impacts

ApsaraDB for MongoDB merges the data_iops and log_iops monitoring metrics into the data_iops(iops) monitoring metric. If you specify an alert threshold based on the two original monitoring metrics, re-specify a threshold based on the new monitoring metric at your earliest opportunity.

This update does not change IOPS monitoring values. The new monitoring metric has the same value as the two original monitoring metrics and services provided by ApsaraDB for MongoDB are not affected.
