Migration

Partition rebalancing

The partition rebalancing feature is supported by ApsaraMQ for Kafka.

• If partitions are unevenly distributed among topics that use cloud storage in a cluster, you can use the partition rebalancing feature to redistribute the partitions. This helps ensure that the number of partitions on each node is the same.

• If partitions are unevenly distributed among topics that use cloud storage in a cluster and traffic in a topic is excessive, you can use the partition rebalancing feature to redirect traffic from the topic to a topic that has low disk usage.
