Android Email Client Setting Method

Procedure

Step 1: Open the Email application of your Android phone and go to the email settings page.

Step 2: Enter the email address and password, and click MANUAL SETUP.

Step 3: Enter the receiving and sending server information.

1. Chooses to use POP3 or IMAP protocol (It is recommended IMAP protocol);

2. Fill the receiving and outgoing server and port;

POP3 Protocol

Incoming mail server: pop.sg.aliyun.com, Port: 110 (non-encrypted)/995(SSL encrypted)

Outgoing mail server: smtp.sg.aliyun.com, Port: 25 (non-encrypted)/465(SSL encrypted)

IMAP Protocol [Recommended]

Incoming mail server: imap.sg.aliyun.com, Port: 143 (non-encrypted)/993(SSL encrypted)

Outgoing mail server: smtp.sg.aliyun.com, Port: 25 (non-encrypted)/465(SSL encrypted)

Step 4: Click √ icon on the right top of the page and select Sync frequency after verification is done.

Step 5: User will be able to view emails after configuration.
