How to Configure MySQL and Hologres Catalog in Realtime Compute for Apache Flink

This article describes step-by-step instructions on how to configure MySQL and Hologres catalog in Realtime Compute for Apache Flink.

Flink Connect Hologres

  • Find out the VPC endpoint, using the same VPC and vSwitch for Flink and Hologres.

  • Create a holo database

  • Click Create Catalog

  • Input endpoint (must with port), AK (Access Key) and SK (Secret Key), dbname

Note: Username and Password must be AK/SK, not login and password. This can be quite tricky.

  • You will find it here if the catalog is created successfully

Flink Connect RDS MySQL

  • Find out VPC endpoint

  • Create a privileged account

  • Create a database (It doesn't matter about the red warning. There's no need to specify the account; just click create)

  • Create catalog

  • Input credentials

  • Then you will find out it works successfully
