This topic describes the structure and functions of Lindorm Insight.
In Lindorm Insight, you can view the basic information of clusters, manage clusters, and query and manage data. Lindorm Insight provides functions of cluster monitoring and health check. This way, you can view monitoring information of clusters, groups, nodes, namespaces, and tables. This helps quickly locate the root causes of hot-spot issues.
On the Lindorm Insight homepage, the left-side navigation pane displays feature options, and the right-side section displays query results.
Descriptions about features on the left-side navigation pane:
Feature | Function | Description | References |
---|---|---|---|
Overview | N/A | You can view detailed information of all tables in a cluster. You can also manage tables, including moving a table to a group, perform throttling for a table, and deleting a table. | Cluster overview |
Data manager | Namespace manager | You can view all namespaces in a cluster. You can also manage namespaces in the cluster, including adding and deleting a namespace. | Manage namespaces |
User manager | You can view users of a cluster and the permissions that the users have. You can add or delete a user, and grant permissions to or revoke permissions from a specified user. | ||
Data query | SQL executor | You can use SQL statements to query the data that is stored in LindormTable. | Data query |
Cluster manager | Group manager | You can view basic information such as the storage space and used space of groups. You can also manage groups, including creating and deleting a group, and moving a RegionServer or a table to a group. | Manage groups |
Inspection | N/A | You can view the basic information of databases in a cluster, the space usage of the table or database, the storage information for a group, and the diagnostics result of hot shards or shard keys. You can also export a diagnostic report. | Inspection |
Request diagnosis | Top regions/keys real-time query | You can view information such as the number of requests, the request data volume, and the average response time for hot shards and keys. | Request diagnosis |
Abnormal traffic detection | You can view the traffic detection results of all tables in a specified group, the status of the tables, the causes of table errors, and the number of requests, the request data volume, and the average response time of all requests for high-traffic tables. |
