If you no longer require the security capabilities provided by Data Security Center (DSC), such as sensitive data detection and , you can release your DSC instances by requesting a refund. This topic describes the rules and procedure for refunding DSC instances.
Before you begin
Before you request a refund, make sure that you understand the refund rules and restrictions. For more information, see Unsubscription Rules.
A refund for a DSC instance immediately releases the instance. All data and configurations for the instance are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
Refund methods
Newly purchased Data Security Center instances, including DataBase Audit (Classified Protection Compliance Edition), are eligible for an unconditional refund within five days of purchase. You can request the refund on the Unsubscribe page.
Instances purchased more than five days ago are not eligible for an unconditional refund. However, if you request a refund due to product issues, you can submit a ticket.
For renewal orders, an unconditional refund is available within five days of the renewal purchase, provided the new service epoch has not yet begun. No refunds are issued after the new service epoch starts.
