You can renew a subscription ApsaraDB for ClickHouse cluster or a storage plan to extend its subscription period. The price for renewing a cluster or a storage plan is the same as the price of purchasing a new cluster or a storage plan. Pay-as-you-go clusters are billed based on the actual usage and do not expire. You do not need to renew pay-as-you-go clusters. You need to only make sure that you have sufficient balance in your Alibaba Cloud account. A computing resource plan has a validity period of three years and does not support renewal.
Usage notes
You cannot renew a computing resource plan.
Before renewal, make sure that your account has no unpaid renewal orders for the cluster whose subscription period you want to extend.
NoteIf your account has an unpaid renewal order, you can log on to the Expenses and Costs console and click Orders to complete the payment or cancel the order.
Before you enable auto-renewal, take note of the following items:
If your cluster will expire the next day, you must manually renew the cluster to prevent service interruptions.
After you enable auto-renewal, the configuration takes effect the next day.
The auto-renewal fee can be deducted only from the balance of your Alibaba Cloud account. The fee cannot be deducted from the balance of a debit card or Alipay account, or the quota of a credit card. Make sure that your account balance is sufficient.
Renew a cluster
To prevent service interruptions due to non-renewal of your cluster, we recommend that you enable auto-renewal for your cluster.
Auto-renewal
Enable auto-renewal when you create a subscription cluster
When you purchase a subscription cluster, you can select Auto-renewal.
After you enable auto-renewal for a subscription cluster, the system automatically renews the cluster based on the specified renewal cycle. For example, if you select a three-month renewal cycle, you are charged for a three-month subscription in each renewal cycle.
Enable auto-renewal in the Expenses and Costs console
You can enable auto-renewal for one or more ApsaraDB for ClickHouse clusters on the Renewal page.
Log on to the ApsaraDB for ClickHouse console.
In the top navigation bar, choose
.On the Renewal page, filter the cluster that you want to renew by configuring Instance ID, Status, Expire At, Instances, and Region.
Click Enable Auto Renewal in the Actions column of the cluster.
NoteTo enable auto-renewal for multiple clusters, you can select the check boxes next to the clusters, and click Enable Auto Renewal at the bottom of the page.
In the Enable Auto Renewal dialog box, set an auto-renewal cycle and click Auto Renew.
Manual renewal
Manually renew a subscription cluster in the ApsaraDB for ClickHouse console
Log on to the ApsaraDB for ClickHouse console.
In the top navigation bar, select the region where the cluster that you want to manage is deployed.
On the Clusters page, find the cluster that you want to manage and click Renew in the Actions column.
On the ApsaraDB for ClickHouse Subscription | Renew page, configure the Subscription Period parameter.
Select I have read and agree ApsaraDB for ClickHouse Subscription Terms of Service, click Buy Now, and then complete the payment as prompted.
Manually renew a subscription cluster in the Expenses and Costs console
Log on to the ApsaraDB for ClickHouse console.
In the top navigation bar, choose
.On the Renewal page, filter the cluster that you want to renew by configuring Instance ID, Status, Expire At, Instances, and Region.
Click Renew in the Actions column of the cluster.
NoteTo manually renew multiple clusters, you can select the check boxes next to the clusters, and click Batch Renew at the bottom of the page.
On the ApsaraDB for ClickHouse Subscription | Renew page, configure the Subscription Period parameter.
Select Terms of Service, click Buy Now, and then complete the payment as prompted.
Renew a storage plan
To prevent service interruptions due to non-renewal of your storage plan, we recommend that you enable auto-renewal for your storage plan.

When you purchase a storage plan, you can select Auto-renewal.

The system automatically deducts an auto-renewal fee from your account balance nine days before your resource expires. If the deduction fails, the deduction repeats the next day until the deduction is successful or the day before the expiration date. The auto-renewal fee can be deducted only from the balance of your Alibaba Cloud account. The fee cannot be deducted from the balance of a debit card or Alipay account, or the quota of a credit card. Make sure that your account balance is sufficient.
You can use coupons to deduct auto-renewal fees. If your account has available coupons, the system automatically uses the coupons to deduct auto-renewal fees.
You can disable auto-renewal at any time.
Enable auto-renewal in the Expenses and Costs console
You can enable auto-renewal for one or more storage plans on the Renewal page.
Log on to the ApsaraDB for ClickHouse console.
In the top navigation bar, choose
.On the Renewal page, select Storage Plan of ApsaraDB for ClickHouse Enterprise Edition from the Instances drop-down list.
Find the storage plan that you want to manage, and click Enable Auto Renewal in the Actions column.
