ApsaraDB for ClickHouse:Expiration and overdue payments

Last Updated:Sep 10, 2024

This topic describes the impacts on the resources in an ApsaraDB for ClickHouse cluster when the cluster expires or your Alibaba Cloud account has an overdue payment.

Warning
  • After your cluster expires or your account has an overdue payment, renew your cluster or add funds to your account at the earliest opportunity to avoid impacts on your business.

  • When a cluster is locked, you are still charged for the Classic Load Balancer (CLB) instance that is mounted to the cluster until the cluster is released. If you no longer use the cluster, we recommend that you release the CLB instance in a timely manner to avoid additional costs. For more information, see Release and mount a CLB instance.

  • After you release a cluster, the CLB instance that is mounted to the cluster is also released. However, if your cluster is locked due to an overdue payment and then released, the CLB instance is not released. After the overdue payment is settled, the CLB instance will be released.

  • From the second day to the fifteenth day after a cluster becomes overdue, the cluster is locked and cannot be accessed.

  • On the sixteenth day after the cluster is locked, the computing resources in the cluster are released and all data stored in the cluster is deleted.
