ApsaraDB for ClickHouse:Billing details about relevant services

ApsaraDB for ClickHouse requires other Alibaba Cloud services to enable certain features, such as Application Real-Time Monitoring Service (ARMS), Classic Load Balancer (CLB), and Elastic Network Interface (ENI). This topic describes the dependent services for ApsaraDB for ClickHouse clusters and their associated billing details.

Note
  • For ApsaraDB for ClickHouse clusters created after September 30, 2021, certain features require other Alibaba Cloud services. These dependent services are billed using the pay-as-you-go billing method. ApsaraDB for ClickHouse clusters created before this date do not rely on other Alibaba Cloud services.

  • After an ApsaraDB for ClickHouse cluster is released, billing for the dependent services automatically stops.

ARMS

Monitoring and alerts

  • Monitoring: depends on Prometheus monitoring. After you enable the Prometheus monitoring service, you can view 15 days of monitoring data for free in the ApsaraDB for ClickHouse console, and data older than 15 days is automatically purged.

  • Alerting: This feature relies on the ARMS alert management service. ARMS charges you based on the type of service that you enable.

CLB

Enable a VPC network or request a public endpoint

  • Enable a VPC network: Depends on CLB. CLB charges at the Small I specification (slb.s1.small). You are charged for the specification fee.

  • Request a public endpoint: Depends on CLB. CLB charges at the Small I specification (slb.s1.small). You are charged for the instance fee, traffic fee, and specification fee.
