Alert event analysis

The alert event analysis feature of Alert Management allows you to combine filter conditions for real-time analysis based on the details of alert events. This feature can meet the custom analysis and diagnostics requirements in different scenarios.

Procedures

  1. Log on to the ARMS console.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Alert Management > Alert Event Analysis.

  3. On the Alert Event Analysis page, select a region and a time range to query.

Filter panel

In the left-side Quick Filter section, you can query alert events by alert level, event status, event object, or integration type.

  • Click the search box at the top. In the drop-down dialog box, configure the existing filter conditions or add custom filter conditions.

  • Click the image.png icon next to the search box to save the current filter conditions.

  • Click Saved View to view the saved filter conditions, and click a filter condition to view the corresponding event data.

Send a test event

Click Send Test Events. In the dialog box that appears, select an integration, configure the event content, and then click OK.

Alert event trends

Based on the filter conditions specified in the Quick Filter section, a chart is displayed in the Alert Event Trend section to show alert event trends.

Alert event list

Click the image.png icon in the upper-right corner to add or hide the fields of the list.

Event Name

The name of the alert event.

Click the name of an alert event. In the panel that appears, you can view the details, history, and related events of the event.

Feature Field

The extended tags of the alert event.

Move the pointer over a field and click the image.png icon to add the current value as a filter condition.

Event Status

The status of the alert event. Valid values: Cleared, Not Cleared, and Silence.

Move the pointer over a status and click the image.png icon to add the current status as a filter condition.

Number of Events

The number of alert events.

Associated Alerts

The associated alerts. Click the name of an associated alert to view the details of the alert.

Actions

Click Manually Clear Alert to manually clear an alert event.
