Container Service for Kubernetes:Manage components

Last Updated:Oct 25, 2024

Container Service for Kubernetes (ACK) provides a variety of components, such as application management, log monitoring, and network components, to help you manage and maintain ACK clusters. ACK will automatically update some components for you. You need to manually update the other components or configure the components in a fine-grained manner. This topic describes how to update, install, or uninstall components.

Prerequisites

An ACK cluster is created.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the ACK console. In the left-side navigation pane, click Clusters.

  2. On the Clusters page, find the cluster that you want to manage and click its name. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Operations > Add-ons.

  3. On the Add-ons page, find the component that you want to manage and install, uninstall, or update the component or modify the control plane parameters of the component.

    Note

To ensure the stability of control plane components, only ACK Pro clusters, ACK Serverless Pro clusters, ACK Edge Pro clusters, and ACK Lingjun clusters allow you to customize the parameters of control plane components. For more information about the parameters that can be customized, see Default parameters. The parameters displayed in the ACK console shall prevail.
