This topic describes how to enable premium bandwidth plans and configure Internet access for cloud computers.
Background information
Public bandwidth types
Type | Description | Scenario |
Basic bandwidth | Cloud computers cannot access the Internet over the network of your on-premises devices. By default, the peak bandwidth of each cloud computer is 5 Mbit/s, which is free of charge. End users can access the Internet from cloud computers. | Scenarios that do not require high traffic or bandwidth. |
Premium bandwidth | You can specify a peak bandwidth value, and use the exclusive bandwidth and IP address. You are charged for enabling and using premium bandwidth plans. | Scenarios that require stable network bandwidth. |
Billing
You are charged for using premium bandwidth plans. For more information about the billing of premium bandwidth plans, see Billing overview.
Enable a premium bandwidth plan
After you enable a premium bandwidth plan for an office network, the bandwidth of the office network changes from the basic bandwidth plan to the premium bandwidth plan. Associate a bandwidth plan with or disassociate a bandwidth plan from an office network
If a premium bandwidth plan is associated with an office network, cloud computers in the office network can access the Internet. After the premium bandwidth plan is disassociated from the office network, a basic bandwidth plan is automatically associated with the office network.
Associate a premium bandwidth plan with an office network
When you enable a premium bandwidth plan, you must select an office network. The plan is automatically associated with the selected office network.
If a premium bandwidth plan is in the Not Associated state, you must associate the plan with an office network to prevent wasting premium bandwidth resources.
NoteA premium bandwidth plan can be associated with only one office network at a time.
For example, if a premium bandwidth plan is associated with Office Network A and you want to associate the plan with Office Network B, you must first disassociate the plan from Office Network A.
