Certificate Management Service:Manage company profiles

Last Updated:Jun 20, 2024

When you submit an application for an organization validated (OV) or extended validation (EV) certificate, you must provide company information such as the business license in the Certificate Management Service console. This way, the certificate authority (CA) can validate the authenticity of the certificate applicant. This topic describes how to create, modify, or delete a company profile.

Create a company profile

Important

Make sure that the company information you enter is true and valid. The CA examines the company information when they validate your certificate application.

You can use one of the following methods to create a company profile:

  • Method 1: Log on to the Certificate Management Service console. On the Information Management page, create a company profile. The following procedure is based on this method.

  • Method 2: When you submit a certificate application, select Create Company Profile from the Company drop-down list and enter basic company information. If you use this method, the system automatically saves the company information that you enter and creates a company profile on the Information Management page. You do not need to enter the information again the next time you submit a certificate application.

  1. Log on to the Certificate Management Service console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Comprehensive Management > Company Profile Management.

  3. On the Company Profile Management page, click Create Company Profile.

  4. In the Create Company Profile dialog box, configure the parameters and click OK.
