Alibaba Cloud allows you to view and manage quotas of your Alibaba Cloud services. You can obtain usage information, apply for increases on quotas, and create quota templates. This topic describes the prerequisites and procedures for managing service quotas.
Background information
Alibaba Cloud Quota Center is a service provided by Alibaba Cloud for centralized management of Alibaba Cloud service quotas. Currently, Quota Center has integrated multiple Alibaba Cloud services, including Gateway Load Balancer (GWLB). If you are using multiple Alibaba Cloud services and want to manage all cloud service quotas in a unified interface, it is recommended to use the Quota Center.
Alternatively, you can individually manage GWLB quotas by using the quota management feature provided on the Quota Center page in the Server Load Balancer (SLB) console.
Prerequisites
By default, only the Alibaba Cloud account is authorized to manage quotas in Quota Center. If you want to allow RAM users to manage quotas, you must first grant the RAM user the AliyunQuotasFullAccess permission. For more information, see Authorize a RAM user.
View quotas
You can choose any of the following methods to view the quotas of GWLB:
Log on to the Quota Center console and view quotas.

To view the quota items and their default values, see GWLB limits.
References provide the typical default quota values for the service and may vary from the actual values. The values in Alibaba Cloud Quota Center or in the Alibaba Cloud service console are the actual quotas applied to your Alibaba Cloud account. However, some quota items are described only in the product documentation. The quota usage information displayed in the console may be several minutes behind the actual usage values.

Create a quota template
After you create a quota template, the quota template is enabled by default. If the administrator account adds a member to the resource directory, the quota template automatically submits a quota increase request for the member. The quota values for existing members remain unchanged. You can use a quota template to apply for increases on multiple quotas at a time. This automated approach can improve the efficiency of quota management across your organization.
Before you create a quota template, make sure that the following requirements are met:
