Starting January 5, 2024, new instance types that provide 1 core and 1 GB of memory, 1 core and 2 GB of memory, 2 cores and 2 GB of memory, and 2 cores and 4 GB of memory are released for YiTian ApsaraDB RDS for MySQL instances on RDS Basic Edition. New instance types that provide 4 cores and 8 GB of memory and 8 cores and 16 GB of memory are released for standard ApsaraDB RDS for MySQL instances on RDS Basic Edition. The new instance types that are provided for YiTian RDS instances are cheaper than existing instance types and are more suitable for start-ups, entrepreneurial teams, small-sized enterprises, and individual developers.
