    Platform For AI:Cloud product dependencies and authorization: AutoML

    Before using the AutoML service, you must activate its dependent Alibaba Cloud products or services, such as Platform for AI (PAI) Deep Learning Containers (DLC), MaxCompute, and Object Storage Service (OSS).

    Dependent products and services for AutoML

    AutoML uses storage services to store models and datasets. It uses compute resources from other services to train models.

    • OSS: AutoML uses OSS for persistent storage of items such as data sources and model files. For more information about OSS, see What is Object Storage Service?.

    • DLC: If you use DLC resources to run AutoML tasks, you must activate the DLC service. For more information about DLC, see Preparations.

    • MaxCompute: If you use MaxCompute resources to run AutoML tasks, you must activate the MaxCompute service. For more information about MaxCompute, see What is MaxCompute?.
