Access points in Object Storage Service (OSS) provide fine-grained access control in different business scenarios and simplify management of large-scale data access for shared datasets. You can configure multiple access points for a bucket and apply different access control permissions and network control policies to each access point.
Scenarios
Access points simplify management of large-scale data access for shared datasets, as in the following example scenarios:
You want tens of apps to have different access permissions on different directories of a bucket.
You store all your business data in a single bucket and want to limit access by tens or hundreds of corporate units to specific directories or objects in the bucket.
Limits
