Object Storage Service:Transfer acceleration fees

Last Updated:Nov 11, 2024

If you enable transfer acceleration and use an acceleration endpoint to access your bucket in Object Storage Service (OSS), you are charged transfer acceleration fees.

Note

This topic describes the billable items and billing methods of OSS. For more information, visit the OSS pricing page.

Billable items

You are separately billed transfer acceleration fees and fees for outbound traffic over the Internet. For example, if you use an acceleration endpoint to download 1 GB of data from a bucket for which transfer acceleration is enabled, you are charged both transfer acceleration fees and fees for outbound traffic over the Internet for the 1 GB of data.

AccM2MIn

You are charged fees based on the traffic that is generated when you use an acceleration endpoint to upload data between regions in the Chinese mainland.

You are billed on an hourly basis. Bills are generally generated after a billing cycle ends. The time when bills are generated is determined by the system.

  • Pay-as-you-go: Transfer acceleration fees = Total transfer acceleration traffic per hour (GB) × Unit price per GB.

  • Resource plan: Go to the OSS Resource Plan page and select Transfer Acceleration Plan. Make sure that the region in which the transfer acceleration plan takes effect is the same as the region to which your bucket belongs.
