You can create an ApsaraVideo Media Processing (MPS) queue to run MPS jobs based on the sequence in which the jobs are submitted. When you create an MPS job, you can associate the job with an MPS queue. This topic describes how to submit a transcoding job in the MPS console.
Prerequisites
The video files to be transcoded are uploaded to an Object Storage Service (OSS) bucket. For more information, see Upload a video.
Procedure
Log on to the MPS console. In the top navigation bar, select a region.
Enable an MPS queue.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Create an MPS queue. To receive messages about the transcoding result, you can click Set Notifications in the Actions column and turn on Notifications.
. Find the MPS queue that you want to enable and click Activate in the Actions column. For more information, seeOptional. Create a transcoding template.
If the preset templates cannot meet your business requirements, you can create a custom transcoding template. For more information, see Transcoding templates.
Create a transcoding job.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Tasks > Job Management. On the Encode tab of the Tasks page, click Create Task and configure the parameters. For more information, see the Create a transcoding job section of the "Job management" topic.
NoteIn this example, a transcoding job is created. You can also create other types of jobs by following the same procedure. For more information, see the Create an intelligent thumbnail job, Create a video moderation job, and Create a media fingerprinting job sections of the "Job management" topic.
View the transcoding result.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Tasks > Job Management. On the Encode tab of the Tasks page, you can view the transcoding result and details of the transcoding job.
