    Alibaba Cloud Model Studio:Manage account

    You can manage workspaces and accounts in Model Studio. One enterprise account can have multiple workspaces to implement data isolation between departments.

    The Manage Alibaba Cloud account feature is only available to the Alibaba Cloud account user and the RAM users or RAM roles with management layer permissions. If you are not familiar with concepts such as workspace, RAM users, or management layer permissions, read Permission Management first.

    1. Log on to the Model Studio console as the Alibaba Cloud account, RAM user, or RAM role with management layer permissions.

    2. Hover your cursor over or click the image icon in the upper right corner.

    3. Select Manage Alibaba Cloud Account from the drop-down menu.

    Workspace Management

    Note

    • One Alibaba Cloud account can have up to 10 workspaces.

    • You cannot delete workspaces.

    • A Default Workspace is automatically created after you activate Model Studio.

    Add a workspace

    1. Click Add Workspace.

    2. Enter a Workspace Name, and click OK.

    Rename a workspace

    1. Click Edit in the Action column.

    2. Enter a new Workspace Name, and click OK.

    Click Enter workspace in the Actions column. You are automatically redirected to the workspace home page.

    View workspace ID

    • For Alibaba Cloud account: Go to Manage Alibaba Cloud Account > Workspace Management page to view all workspace IDs in the Workspace ID column.

    • For RAM users: Enter an authorized workspace. Click the image icon next to the workspace name in the upper left corner.

    Account Management

    Add a user

    1. In the left-side navigation pane of the previous page, choose Account Management.

    2. Click Add User, specify the Basic Information.

      RAM User: The drop-down list displays all RAM users under the Alibaba Cloud account. Select the desired RAM user or create a RAM User.
      Name: Enter the username for the RAM user in Model Studio.

    3. Click Next and configure its permissions.

      1. Click Permission.

      2. Select the desired workspace for Scope.

      3. Assign a Role. We recommend that you grant only the minimum necessary permissions to minimize security threats.

        Admin: Grants access to all features within the specified workspace.
        Visitor: Grants access to all features within the specified workspace, except for User management and Role management.

    Find a user

    Enter the name of the Alibaba Cloud account in the search box and click image to find users who are in Model Studio. Fuzzy search is supported.
