Function Compute provides free trial quotas for users who log on to the Function Compute console for the first time. Resource Access Management (RAM) users that are created in an Alibaba Cloud account share the quotas with the Alibaba Cloud account. Trial quotas are provided for three consecutive cycles. Each cycle lasts for a month. Excess resource usage in each cycle is billed on a pay-as-you-go basis. If you want to save costs when trial quotas are used up, you can purchase resource plans.

Trial quotas are provided for three consecutive cycles. Each cycle lasts for a month. Each cycle is reset at 00:00 on the 1st of each natural month. If you obtain the trial quotas in the middle of a natural month, the second half of that month and the first half of the last month combined constitute a cycle. For example, the following items list the three cycles if you activate Function Compute at 09:00 on September 15, 2024 and claim the trial quotas:
Cycle 1: [09:00 September 15, 2024 - 24:00 September 30, 2024] + [00:00 December 1, 2024 - 09:00 December 15, 2024]
Cycle 2: [00:00 October 1, 2024 - 24:00 October 31, 2024]
Cycle 3: [00:00 November 1, 2024 - 24:00 November 30, 2024]
A total of 150,000 CUs of trial quota is provided in each cycle. You are charged on a pay-as-you-go basis when the quota is used up in each cycle. For more information, see Pay-as-you-go.
