This topic describes how to create different types of tickets in Data Management (DMS), such as data change tickets, schema change tickets, and data export tickets. This topic also describes how to close a ticket and view ticket details.
Usage notes
You cannot delete a created ticket in DMS.
Create a ticket
- Log on to the DMS console V5.0.
Move the pointer over the icon in the upper-left corner, select All Features, and then click the name of the feature that you want to use.
NoteIf you use the DMS console in normal mode, move the pointer over Database Development in the top navigation bar and select the feature that you want to use.
Optional. To create a ticket for schema design, SQL review, database clone, test data generation, or data tracking, click the button in the upper-right corner of the ticket list page. Then, the Ticket Application page appears.
Create a ticket.

Modify ticket information
On the homepage of the DMS console, click My Tickets.
On the My Tickets page, find the ticket that you want to manage and click its ticket number. In the ticket details panel, modify the ticket information.
Before you submit a ticket, you can modify the ticket information in the ticket details panel.
After you submit a ticket, you can modify the SQL statements of the ticket if the SQL statements fail the precheck. However, you cannot modify other information about the ticket.
Close a ticket
After you close a ticket, if the task involved is being executed or is to be scheduled for execution, the task is terminated.
On the homepage of the DMS console, click My Tickets.
Configure the Classification and Status parameters to search for the ticket that you want to close.
Click the ticket number of the ticket. In the ticket details panel, click Close Ticket in the upper-right corner. In the Close Ticket Confirmation dialog box, enter the reason for closing the ticket and click Submit.
View ticket details
On the homepage of the DMS console, click My Tickets.
Configure the Classification and Status parameters to search for the ticket that you want to view.
Click the ticket number of the ticket. In the ticket details panel, view the details of the ticket.
