DataWorks Data Governance Center provides a knowledge base that you can use to check the solutions to common governance issues and check events. You can use the recommended solutions to resolve issues. This topic describes how to view solutions to governance issues and check events by using the knowledge base.
Background information
On the Workbench page in Data Governance Center, you can view the details of the governance issues and check events of the current tenant. You can find a governance issue and click Handling Guide in the Actions column to go to the Knowledge page on which you can view the solution provided by Data Governance Center and use the solution to resolve the issue. Precautions
Data Governance Center allows you to handle check events and governance issues of MaxCompute, E-MapReduce (EMR), and Hologres data sources. For information about the types of data sources to which each check item and governance item apply, check the Applicable Data Source column on each tab of the Knowledge page.
Before you can use a Hologres data source in Data Governance Center, you must collect metadata of Hologres in Data Map. For more information, see Metadata collection.
Hologres data sources support Data Governance Center only in the following regions: China (Beijing), China (Shanghai), China (Hangzhou), and China (Shenzhen).
View solutions to governance issues
In the left-side navigation pane of the Knowledge page, click Governance Item. On the Governance Item page, you can select a dimension and view the basic information about and solutions to the governance issues related to the dimension. The following figure shows the information about the governance issues related to the R&D dimension.

1 | In this area, you can select the R&D, Storage, Computing, Quality, or Security dimension to view the solutions to the governance issues related to the dimension. You can also enter a keyword to search for a solution. |
2 | In this area, you can view the basic information about a governance issue from a specific dimension. The basic information includes the Title, Governance Object, Range, Description, and Associated Governance Items. Find a governance issue that you want to handle and click View Details in the Actions column to view the solution to the governance issue. You can use the solution to handle the issue with ease. |
View solutions to check events
On the Check Item page, you can select a dimension and view the basic information about and solutions to the check events related to the dimension. The following figure shows the information about the check events related to the R&D dimension.
