Database Autonomy Service:Real-time monitoring dashboard

Last Updated:Jul 26, 2024

Database Autonomy Service (DAS) provides a global real-time monitoring dashboard. This allows you to view the performance metrics of all database instances that are connected to DAS in real time. During business peak hours or major business changes, you can use the dashboard to check the health status of your databases in real time.

Prerequisites

The database instance that you want to manage is connected to DAS and is in the Normal Access state. For more information, see Connect a database instance to DAS.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the DAS console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Real-time Monitoring Dashboard.

  3. On the Real-time Monitoring page, select the database type that you want to view. On the corresponding tab, you can view the performance metrics of each database instance in real time.

To view the description of each metric, click Metric Description in the upper-right corner of the tab.

    Note
    • On the Real-time Monitoring page, you can view the real-time performance of database instances in the Normal Access state. The data is automatically refreshed.

    • If you have grouped database instances into clusters by database engine such as MySQL by using the cluster management feature of DAS, you can view the real-time performance of these database instances by selecting the clusters from the Select Cluster drop-down list.
