This topic describes how a Resource Access Management (RAM) user performs operations and maintenance (O&M) on authorized applications in the Bastion Host console.
Supported editions
Enterprise Edition and SM Edition
If your Bastionhost instance is a Basic Edition instance, upgrade it to a supported edition. For more information, see Upgrade an instance.
Prerequisites
An administrator has granted O&M permissions to the RAM user. For more information, see Grant the Bastionhost administrator role.
The administrator has created a new application in the Bastion Host, imported the RAM user, and granted the RAM user permissions to the assets and asset accounts. For more information, see Add and configure an application, Manage users, and Authorize application assets.
Procedure
Log on to the Bastionhost console. In the top navigation bar, select the region where your Bastionhost instance is located.
In the list of Bastionhost instances, find the target instance and click Manage.
In the navigation pane on the left, choose .
On the Application O&M page, locate the target application.
In the Remote Connection column, click the drop-down list. In the dialog box that appears, select an application account, set the login method to Web Remote Connection, and then click Login.
Go to the web O&M web page of the application and perform O&M operations.
