If your overdue payments remain unsettled for seven days, Managed Service for Prometheus stops receiving the metric data reported by your Prometheus instance until no data is received within the specified storage duration. Then, your Prometheus instance is released. The metric data and Prometheus instance cannot be recovered.
If you no longer use Managed Service for Prometheus, you can uninstall your Prometheus instance to stop reporting metrics. This prevents incurring additional fees in Managed Service for Prometheus and generating overdue payments. For information about how to uninstall a Prometheus instance, see Refund policy.
