Application Monitoring alert rules trigger notifications when monitored metrics meet specified conditions. After you create alert rules, you may need to adjust, test, or organize them as your monitoring requirements change. The Application Monitoring Alert Rules page provides tools for editing, enabling, disabling, deleting, copying, and testing individual rules, as well as performing bulk operations.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure that you have:
An Alibaba Cloud account with access to the ARMS console
One or more alert rules created for Application Monitoring
Open the alert rules page
Log on to the ARMS console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Application Monitoring > Application Monitoring Alert Rules.
Filter alert rules
On the Application Monitoring Alert Rules page, filter rules by any of the following criteria:

| Metric type | The monitored metric type |
| Application name | The target application |
| Tag | Assigned tags |
| Rule name | The rule name |
| Keyword search | Enter a keyword in the search box |
Manage individual rules
In the Actions column of a rule, click the corresponding button to perform an operation.

| Edit a rule | Edit | Modify the rule on the Edit alerts page, then click Save. |
| Delete a rule | Delete | Click OK in the Confirm message. |
| Enable a rule | Start | Click OK in the Confirm message. |
| Disable a rule | Stop | Click OK in the Confirm message. |
| Copy a rule | Copy | A copy of the rule appears on the Application Monitoring Alert Rules page. |
| Test a rule | Test | Send test alerts as prompted to verify that the rule triggers alert events and notifications correctly. |
| View alert history | Alert History | Review alert event details on the Alert Event Analysis page. For more information, see Alert event analysis. |
Manage rules in bulk
Select multiple rules on the Application Monitoring Alert Rules page, then use the buttons at the bottom of the page:
