Billing of Standard Edition instances
Standard Edition instances are billed based on the pay-as-you-go billing method. Standard Edition instances are suitable for scenarios in which the number of messages is small or significantly fluctuates during peak and off-peak hours. You are charged only for messages that are transmitted and resources that you use. This helps you maximize your resource utilization.
Messaging fee
The messaging feature is a basic feature provided by ApsaraMQ for RocketMQ. By default, the messaging feature is enabled after you activate ApsaraMQ for RocketMQ. If you use ApsaraMQ for RocketMQ Standard Edition instances, you are charged the messaging fee.
For more information, see Pricing details of the messaging feature.
Internet traffic fee
ApsaraMQ for RocketMQ allows you to connect to instances from clients by using public endpoints and virtual private cloud (VPC) endpoints. If a public endpoint is used to connect to an ApsaraMQ for RocketMQ instance, you are charged for traffic over the Internet.

Billing of Enterprise Platinum Edition instances
Enterprise Platinum Edition instances are billed based on the subscription billing method. Enterprise Platinum Edition instances are suitable for scenarios in which the service level agreement (SLA) requirements are high or the number of messages is large. The subscription billing method allows you to pay for resources in advance and helps you reduce costs with high discounts.
