ApsaraMQ for Kafka provides fully managed and O&M-free sink connectors to synchronize data between ApsaraMQ for Kafka and other Alibaba Cloud services. This topic describes the prerequisites for using sink connectors and the types of data synchronization tasks that are supported by sink connectors.

Prerequisites

Sink connectors are implemented based on EventBridge and Function Compute. Before you use a sink connector, make sure that the following services are activated:

Billing

  • EventBridge is in public preview. It is free of charge during public preview.
  • For information about the billing of Function Compute, see Billing overview.

Connector types

Sink in sink connectors indicates data outflow. When you use the sink connectors provided by Message Queue for Apache Kafka, ApsaraMQ for Kafka serves as the data sources, and other services serve as the data destinations. The following table describes the types of sink connectors.
