This topic describes how to view the progress of a migration task that is run to migrate data from a self-managed Kafka cluster to ApsaraMQ for Kafka.
Prerequisites
A migration task is created. The following migration methods are supported:- Use the CLI to migrate a specific type of resource
- Migrate the metadata of a self-managed Kafka cluster
- Migrate the metadata of a self-managed Kafka cluster to a new ApsaraMQ for Kafka instance
- Migrate consumer offsetsImportant ApsaraMQ for Kafka does not support consumer offset migration from a self-managed Kafka cluster to a Message Queue for Apache Kafka instance.
Procedure
Important ApsaraMQ for Kafka does not return information for tasks that are run to migrate message data or consumer offset data. After you start a migration task to migrate message data or consumer offset data, you cannot view the migration progress in the ApsaraMQ for Kafka console.
Log on to the ApsaraMQ for Kafka console.
In the Resource Distribution section of the Overview page, select the region where your instance is deployed.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Migrate.
- On the Migrate page, you can view all migration tasks that are run to migrate self-managed Kafka clusters to Message Queue for Apache Kafka instances that are deployed in the region. Find the migration task whose progress you want to view, and view the values in the Topic Migration Progress and Group Migration Progress columns. You can also click Details to view the details.
