This topic describes how to delete a multi-account trail in the ActionTrail console. After you delete a multi-account trail, the events of members in a specific resource directory are no longer collected.
Procedure
Log on to the ActionTrail console by using a delegated administrator account or management account.
NoteMembers can query multi-account trails but cannot delete multi-account trails.
For more information about how to configure a delegated administrator account, see Manage a delegated administrator account.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Trails.
On the Trails page, click the name of the trail that you want to delete.
Click Delete in the upper-right corner.
In the Delete Trail message, click Confirm.
ImportantThe events that have been delivered to the specified Simple Log Service Logstore or Object Storage Service (OSS) bucket are not deleted. If you want to delete events from a Simple Log Service Logstore or an OSS bucket, see Manage a Logstore and Delete buckets.
