Quota Center:View alert rules created for quota items and rule details

After you create or modify alert rules for quota items, you can view the existing alert rules and their details. This helps you manage quotas.

View alert rules created for general quota items

  1. Log on to the Quota Center console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Alarm Rules.

  3. On the General Quotas tab, find the alert rule that you want to view and click View in the Actions column.

    You can view the detailed settings of the alert rule and the alert notifications sent based on the alert rule.

    Note

    Quota Center monitors the real-time quota value of a general quota item and calculates the percentage of used quota and percentage of remaining quota based on the quota usage and quota value.

View alert rules created for API rate limits

  1. Log on to the Quota Center console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Alarm Rules.

  3. On the API Rate Limit tab, find the alert rule that you want to view and click View in the Actions column. On the rule details page, you can view the detailed settings and monitoring charts of the alert rule and the alert notifications sent based on the alert rule.

    You can also click Monitoring Details in the Actions column of an alert rule to view the monitoring charts for the metrics used by the alert rule.

    Note

    The alert object of a single alert rule is an API rate limit of a cloud service.

    The alert objects of a global alert rule are all API rate limits of a cloud service.

    Note

    Monitoring data is aggregated at an interval of 60 seconds for an API rate limit based on one of the following rules:

    • If the API rate limit measures queries per second (QPS) and the detailed limit is 5/1(s), which indicates that the API operation supports up to five calls per second, the maximum QPS within the last 60 seconds is considered as the quota usage.

    • If the API rate limit measures queries per minute (QPM) and the detailed limit is 300/60(s), which indicates that the API operation supports up to 300 calls per 60 seconds, the total number of calls within the last 60 seconds is considered as the quota usage.
