Edition | Billing Method | Billable item | Description | References |
Basic Edition | Pay-as-you-go | Trace storage | The Basic Edition provides a free quota of one day for trace storage. By default, for each API request sent from your Alibaba Cloud account, each agent samples the first trace and stores it free of charge for one day.
Pro Edition | Pay-as-you-go | Agent × Hour | Application Monitoring Pro Edition provides resource plans and the pay-as-you-go billing method. You are charged based on the number of hours for which agents run, regardless of the traces and metrics. Note For applications deployed in ACK clusters, Application Monitoring Pro Edition provides a 50 percent discount. For more information, see Estimate preferential prices.
Resource plan | Agent × Hour |
You cannot enable only the certain features of Application Monitoring. For more information, see Edition comparison.
Billing cycle
The billing cycle of ARMS is one day. ARMS generates the bills of the previous day at 00:00 every day. Generally, bills are generated before 08:00. If your Alibaba Cloud account has sufficient balance, the system deducts fees from the balance. You can view bills in the Expenses and Costs console and view the observable data volume in the ARMS console. For more information, see Bills and resource usage.
Bills may be generated later than expected.
