Container Service for Kubernetes:Manage associated clusters

最終更新日:Dec 04, 2023

After you enable Fleet management, you can associate clusters with a Fleet instance and then deploy applications and workloads to the associated clusters from the Fleet instance. The Fleet management feature allows you to manage associated clusters across regions. This topic describes how to associate clusters with a Fleet instance, disassociate clusters from a Fleet instance, and view the clusters that are associated with a Fleet instance.

Prerequisites

  • The Fleet management feature is enabled. For more information, see Enable Fleet management.

  • The cluster to be associated and the Fleet instance are deployed in the same virtual private cloud (VPC). If the cluster and Fleet instance belong to different VPCs, make sure that the cluster has Internet access or Cloud Enterprise Network (CEN) is used to connect the VPCs.

  • You can associate or disassociate at most 10 clusters at a time.

Associate clusters with a Fleet instance

  1. Log on to the ACK One console. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Fleet > Associated Clusters.

  2. On the Associate Cluster page, click Add Associated Cluster.

  3. In the Add Associated Cluster panel, select the cluster to be associated and click OK.

Wait a period of time (less than 5 minutes). On the Associate Cluster page, if the status of the cluster displays Associated, the cluster is associated with the Fleet instance.

    Note

After the cluster is associated, you need to manually refresh the Fleet management page to view the updated list of associated clusters. The following list describes the states of an associated cluster:

    • Processing: The request for associating the cluster is submitted to the Fleet instance.

    • Associating: The Fleet instance has received the association request and the cluster is being associated with the Fleet instance.

    • Associated: The cluster is associated with the Fleet instance.

    • Failed to Associate: The system failed to associate the cluster with the Fleet instance.

View associated clusters

  1. Log on to the ACK One console. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Fleet > Associated Clusters.

  2. On the Associate Cluster page, you can view the associated clusters and their status.

Disassociate clusters from a Fleet instance

  1. Log on to the ACK One console. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Fleet > Associated Clusters.

  2. On the Associate Cluster page, find the cluster that you want to disassociate from the Fleet instance and click Disassociate in the Actions column.

  3. In the message that appears, click OK.

    Note

Wait a period of time and refresh the Fleet management page. If the cluster is removed from the list of associated clusters, the cluster is disassociated.
