Upgrade description
After the upgrade, you can configure the rule status and the rule action when setting up the rule engine. In hybrid cloud scenarios, you can also customize protection rules.
After the upgrade, the original protection rule group function is upgraded to the engine configuration function. The upgrade method is as follows:
If the protection rule group is associated with a protection template, the engine configuration of the template is automatically updated to the rules in the original protection rule group, without being affected by the upgrade.
If the protection rule group is not associated with a protection template, the protection rule group is unpublished after the upgrade. If you need to back up the rules in the protection rule group, create a new protection template and associate the protection rule group with the protection template.
After the upgrade, if your WAF uses pay-as-you-go billing, the protection rule group and protocol compliance functions no longer incurs charges.
