VPN Gateway:Monitor SSL-VPN system events

Last Updated:Aug 22, 2024

After you enable the SSL-VPN feature, Cloud Monitor (CMS) monitors system events such as service failures, O&M events, and business exceptions that occur during your use of this feature. This topic describes how to view SSL-VPN system events in the CloudMonitor console and configure alert rules for the system events.

Background information

When you use the SSL-VPN feature, CloudMonitor automatically monitors the system events described in the following table. Each system event has a default severity level. System events are classified based on the following severity levels:

  • CRITICAL: We recommend that you handle system events of this severity level at the earliest opportunity.

  • WARN: We recommend that you handle system events of this severity level based on your business requirements.

  • INFO: You do not need to handle system events of this severity level.
