This topic describes the changes to the usage rules of ApsaraVideo VOD storage.
Dear Alibaba Cloud ApsaraVideo VOD user,
since January 31, 2024, you cannot modify the access control lists (ACLs) of files stored in both the VOD bucket and Object Storage Service (OSS) buckets by specifying the x-oss-object-acl parameter in OSS.
You only need to upload files by using the temporary upload credentials provided by ApsaraVideo VOD. You do not need to configure the ACL of the files. This helps you use ApsaraVideo VOD in an easier and more secure manner.
To manage ACLs of files, use the ApsaraVideo VOD console or API.
