User Center:Cost allocation tags

Overview

This feature allows you to manage existing tags and filter cost data by tag.

After you enable specific tags on the Cost allocation tags page, you can use the tags in the following scenarios:

• Query and display data based on the enabled tags on the Cost Centers page.

• Query and display data based on the enabled tags on the Split Bill page.

• Query and display data based on the enabled tags on the Bill Details page.

• Query and display data based on the enabled tags on the Cost Analysis page.

• Use the enabled tags to filter Object Storage Service (OSS) bills and results that are returned from bill-related API operations.

Procedure

• 1. Add tags to resources in the consoles of Alibaba Cloud services.

• 2. On the Cost allocation tags page, enable tags.

• 3. View cost data based on the enabled tags on the related pages.

Usage notes

1. You must enable the cost allocation tag feature to use cost allocation tags.

2. If you do not enable this feature, all tags are displayed on pages of the Billing Management console. In this case, data is not filtered based on tags.

3. You can manage only existing tags. You can enable a maximum of 100 tags.

4. If you do not enable any tags after you enable the feature, no tags are displayed on pages of the Billing Management console. In this case, tags are not used to filter cost data.

5. By default, a new tag is disabled. After you enable the tag on the Cost allocation tags page, you can view the tag on pages of the Billing Management console.

6. If you want to delete a tag, you must disable the tag on the Cost allocation tags page.
