On September 27, 2024, ApsaraDB for Redis and Tair were merged into a single service called Tair(Redis OSS-compatible). In the future, all services and support will be provided under the Tair brand.
You can continue to use Tair (Enterprise Edition) and Redis Open-Source Edition by means of the console, product page, documentation, and API of Tair(Redis OSS-compatible). Is it mandatory to convert Redis Open-Source Edition instances into Tair instances?
No. Redis Open-Source Edition will continue to provide services as a subcategory under the Tair brand. You can still purchase Redis Open-Source Edition instances for your business.
Will Redis Open-Source Edition continue to be maintained and receive feature updates after the brand integration is complete?
