You can create a region constraint as the administrator to specify the available regions that end users can select to launch a product.
Procedure
- Log on to the Service Catalog console as the administrator.
- In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
On the Portfolio management page, click the name of the product portfolio that you want to manage.
Click the Constraints tab, and then click Create constraint.
On the Create Constraint page, configure the parameters.
From the Products drop-down list, select a product.
In the Constraint description field, enter the description of the constraint.
In the Constraint type section, select Region Constraint.
Select regions from the Available Regions drop-down list. You can select multiple regions.
Click Confirm.
What to do next
When an end user launches a product that belongs to the portfolio, the end user can only select a region from the available regions specified by the administrator to deploy the product instance. For more information, see Launch a product.
