To enhance your protection experience, Alibaba Cloud updates the defense against brute-force attacks feature of Security Center. The Change Details section describes the update.
Change details
Effective from October 24, 2024 (UTC+8), if you use Security Center Advanced, you can install the Alinet plug-in to improve the protection effectiveness of the feature. You can also use the cloud dynamic defense model to strengthen the security system.
During the period from October 24, 2024, 00:00:00 to October 25, 2024, 00:00:00 (UTC+8), Security Center automatically installs the Alinet plug-in for all users of the Advanced edition.
Impact
This update only affects users of the Advanced edition. Starting from October 25, 2024, users of the Advanced edition can block abnormal login attempts detected by the the defense against brute-force attacks feature with the Alinet plug-in.
If you want to disable the new feature, log on to the Security Center console, go to the Feature Settings page, and turn off Malicious Network Behavior Prevention. For more information, see Enable features on the Host Protection Settings tab.
