After you receive a Smart Access Gateway (SAG) device or reset an SAG device, you must first activate the device before you can use it.
Procedure
- Log on to the SAG console.
- In the top navigation bar, select the region.
- After you receive the SAG device that you have ordered, perform the following operations
to activate the device:
- On the Smart Access Gateway page, find the SAG instance that you want to manage and choose in the Actions column.
- In the Activate dialog box, click OK.
- After you reset an SAG device, perform the following operations to activate the device:
- On the Smart Access Gateway page, find and click the SAG instance that you want to manage.
- On the instance details page, click the Device Management tab.
- If the SAG instance is associated with two SAG devices, choose the one that you want to activate.
- Click Activate Device.
