If an application instance becomes abnormal or fails, you can delete the application instance. The instance is automatically recreated. This topic describes how to delete an application instance in the Serverless App Engine (SAE) console.
Procedure
Important After you delete an application instance, SAE automatically creates a new instance. The IP address of the new instance is different from the IP address of the deleted instance. Proceed with caution.
Log on to the SAE console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Applications. In the top navigation bar, select a region. Then, click the name of an application.
- On the Basic Information page, click the Instance Deployment Information tab.
- In the Default Group section of the Instance Deployment Information tab, find the instance that you want to delete and click the
icon in the Actions column. In the drop-down list, select Delete. - In the Delete Instance dialog box that appears, click OK. After you click OK, the Change Details page appears. If the value of the Status parameter is Succeeded, the instance is deleted.
- Optional:If some instances failed to be deleted, click Batch Retry on the Change Details page to delete the instances again.
