Serverless App Engine:View top N application monitoring metrics

After you host an application on Serverless App Engine (SAE), SAE collects and analyzes application data, such as the number of abnormal instances and failure rate of change orders. The top N applications by metric are displayed on the Overview page. This helps you view the status of applications in real time.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the SAE console.

  2. In the Top 10 Followed Applications section of the Overview page, select a region and view the monitoring information of the applications.

    The following table describes the metrics.

    Metric

    Description

    Total Abnormal Instances

    Displays the top N applications in which abnormal instances exist. The applications are sorted by the total number of abnormal instances. You can click an application name in the Application Name column to go to the Basic Information page of the application.

    Warning Events

    Displays the top N applications in which Warning events occurred in the previous 30 minutes. The applications are sorted by the number of events. You can click an application name in the Application Name column to go to the Application Events page of the application. SAE displays the Warning events.

    Change Order Failure Rate

    Displays the top N applications by the failure rate of change orders in the previous seven days. Click an application name in the Application Name column to go to the Change Records page. SAE displays the changes that failed to be executed.

    Change Order Failures

    Displays the top N applications by the number of change order failures in the previous seven days. Click an application name in the Application Name column to go to the Change Records page. SAE displays the changes that failed to be executed.

    Auto Scaling-enabled Applications

    Displays the top N applications in which metric-based auto scaling policies are enabled. The applications are sorted by the current number of instances. You can click an application name in the Application Name column to go to the Basic Information page of the application.

    Application Errors

    Displays the top N applications by the number of application errors that occurred in the previous 15 minutes. You can click an application name in the Application Name column to go to the Application Overview page of the application.

    Total Application Requests

    Displays the top N applications by the total number of application requests in the previous 15 minutes. You can click an application name in the Application Name column to go to the Application Overview page of the application.

    Average Response Time

    Displays the top N applications by the average response time of the application in the previous 15 minutes. You can click an application name in the Application Name column to go to the Application Overview page of the application.
