Store backup files

Store backup files to your Object Storage Service (OSS) bucket.

  • Method 1: If your RDS instance that uses cloud disks meets relevant requirements, you can create an advanced download task and configure the task to download the backup files of your RDS instance to an OSS bucket. If your RDS that uses cloud disks does not meet relevant requirements or uses local disks, you can download the backup files of your RDS instance by following the instructions provided in this topic and then upload the backup files to an OSS bucket.   • Method 2: You can use Database Backup (DBS) to automatically back up an ApsaraDB RDS for MySQL instance or a self-managed MySQL database. For more information, see Back up an ApsaraDB RDS for MySQL instance or a self-managed MySQL database by using logical backup.
