Quick BI:Purchases, Upgrades, Downgrades, Renewals, and Overdue Payments

Quick BI is available in Personal, Advanced, and Professional editions. For more information about the pricing and billing methods for each edition, see Billing Methods for Quick BI.

First purchase

Before you purchase Quick BI, determine the number of users that you need.

A user can be a Resource Access Management (RAM) user or an Alibaba Cloud account. RAM users do not have permission to purchase Quick BI. You must use an Alibaba Cloud account to purchase Quick BI.

To purchase Quick BI for both an Alibaba Cloud account and a RAM user, you must purchase a subscription for two users.

First-time users can purchase Quick BI for multiple users in a single order.

Procedure

  1. Go to the Quick BI buy page.

  2. Select the number of users and the subscription duration.

  3. Confirm the price and click Buy Now.

  4. Enter your username and logon password, and click Log On to log on to the Alibaba Cloud website.

    Note

    If you do not have an Alibaba Cloud account, click Register for free and follow the on-screen instructions to create an account.

  5. Confirm the order and click Pay.image

Add an account

You can purchase Quick BI for yourself or for others. To purchase for others, simply add their account to your own.

If you have an existing Quick BI product and want to purchase another for someone else, ensure the account used for the purchase is active.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the Quick BI console.

  2. Click Upgrade.

  3. Select the number of additional users to purchase.

  4. Confirm the price and click Pay.

Purchase an upgrade

Only the primary Alibaba Cloud account associated with the subscription can purchase an upgrade for Quick BI.

  1. Log on to the Quick BI console.

  2. On the Quick BI console home page, hover over the profile icon in the upper-right corner and click Upgrade.

  3. Review the purchase information. If the information is correct, click Buy Now.

  4. On the Confirm Order page, review the order details, select the Quick BI Service Agreement, and click Pay Now.

    Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the payment.

Switch versions

If you want to downgrade from the Professional Edition to the Advanced Edition, you must unsubscribe from your current edition and then purchase the new edition.

  1. Log on to the Alibaba Cloud Management Console.

  2. On the console home page, hover over Tickets in the top navigation bar and click Submit Ticket.

  3. Select Quick BI.

    1. You can enter keywords to search for the product name.

    2. Alternatively, click View All Products and select Quick BI.

  4. On the ticket submission page, fill in the problem description and other required information. After you submit the ticket, use the conversation window to contact customer service. Provide the product name, instance ID, and order ID, and state your reason for unsubscribing.

  5. After you successfully unsubscribe, you can purchase the Advanced Edition from the Quick BI buy page.

Note

After you unsubscribe, your data is retained for 7 days. You must complete the new purchase within this period.

Renewal

After your Quick BI subscription expires, it enters a seven-day grace period for renewal. If you do not renew your subscription within this period, the system automatically releases your resources.

If you do not renew your subscription on time, your product resources will be retained for seven days. If you do not renew within this period, the resources will be released and all data, except for your works, will be lost.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the Quick BI console.

  2. Click Renew and select a subscription duration.

  3. Click Pay to complete the renewal.

Overdue payments

  • Expiration Reminder for Quick BI

    After your subscription expires, your product resources are retained for a seven-day grace period. Your data is not lost during this period.

    During the grace period, you can only renew your subscription. You cannot purchase a new one. After you renew, you can continue to use the product. For instructions, see the Renewal section.

  • Resource retention and release

    As mentioned, your product resources are retained for seven days after your subscription expires. Your data is not lost during this retention period.

    During this period, you can only renew your subscription. After you renew, you can continue to use the product.

    Resource release rules

    If you do not renew within the grace period, your resources are released. When resources are released, all associated data is permanently deleted, except for your saved works.

    After the resources are released, you can purchase a new subscription. If you renew an expired subscription during the grace period, the new validity period starts from the renewal date.

    If you renew an active subscription before it expires, the new validity period is appended to the current one, starting from the original expiration date.
