This topic describes the lifecycle dates for major versions of the PostgreSQL community and PolarDB for PostgreSQL.
PolarDB for PostgreSQL will continue to support and maintain versions 11, 14, 15, 16, 17, and 18. There are currently no plans to end support. If an end-of-support date is set, PolarDB for PostgreSQL will provide notifications by email, text message, and official website announcements.
The following table lists the lifecycle dates for major versions of the PostgreSQL community and PolarDB for PostgreSQL.
Some dates in the table are estimates and will be revised after the end-of-life date is finalized. The actual dates prevail.
