After you release a PolarDB for PostgreSQL (Compatible with Oracle) cluster, the cluster is asynchronously archived to the Cluster Recycle Bin as level-2 backups at approximately 150 MB/s. You can delete individual backup sets from the recycle bin when they are no longer needed.
Prerequisites
A released PolarDB for PostgreSQL (Compatible with Oracle) cluster in the Cluster Recycle Bin.
Usage notes
Released clusters in the Cluster Recycle Bin must have at least one backup set. If all backup sets of a cluster are deleted, the cluster cannot be restored.
After you release a cluster, the cluster is asynchronously archived to the Cluster Recycle Bin as level-2 backups at a rate of approximately 150 MB/s. For more information about backups, see Backup and restoration.
Delete a backup set
Deleting all backup sets of a released cluster removes any possibility of restoring that cluster. Proceed with caution.
Log on to the PolarDB console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Cluster Recycle Bin.
In the upper-left corner, select the region where the cluster was deployed.
Find the cluster and click the
icon next to it to expand the list of backup sets.Find the backup set that you want to delete and click Delete Backup in the Actions column.

In the confirmation dialog box, click OK.
