This topic describes the online file preview feature of Drive and Photo Service (PDS). This feature allows you to work with ease and efficiency anytime and anywhere. You can preview and perform operations on files of various formats in PDS Developer Edition.
Prerequisites
The online file preview feature is a value-added feature. After you enable this feature, you are charged additional fees. For more information, see Billable items for value-added features.
You are not charged for online preview of image files.
Supported file formats
You can preview files of various formats online, such as Microsoft Office files, PDF files, audio files, and video files. You do not need to download additional plug-ins to preview files. The following table describes the supported file formats.

File copy
When you preview a file online, you can copy the file content. If you cannot copy the file content, you may have the following considerations:
You do not have the copy permissions on the file. If you want to copy the file content, you must contact the file owner or administrators to obtain the copy permissions.
The file format, such as an image format, is not supported for the copy operation.
Limits
Document: The online file preview feature is not available for documents whose size exceeds 200 MB. To preview or edit a document whose size exceeds 200 MB, download the file to your on-premises device for operation. The upper limit size for documents supporting the online file preview feature cannot be adjusted.
Video: The online file preview feature is available for video files of an unlimited size.
Audio: The online file preview feature is available for audio files of an unlimited size.
Image: The online file preview feature is not available for images whose size exceeds 20 MB. To adjust the upper limit size of images supporting the online file preview feature, contact us.
